Phoenix is easily the worst metro area in the US other than Los Angeles. Almost zero walkability and an extremely ugly city full of stripmalls and ambulence chaser billboards. 4 months out of the year it is genuinely impossible to do anything outside unless you wake up at 4 AM. Garbage heap, atomizing nightmare of a city and I can't wait to move back east where the cities feel like they were actually designed for people to live in.

Best thing about Phoenix is things you can do outside of phoenix
A couple of notes: First, they showed Winslow, AZ, not Old Town Scottsdale. Second, it’s pronounced “PAH-pa-go” not “Pah-PAH-go”. Third, there was no mention of our two “world class” museums – the Heard Museum and the Musical Instrument Museum (known as the MIM). I could go on. But that’s enough. 🤦♀️🤷♀️
There is some misinformation here. Winslow is not Scottsdale. Also, there is SO much more to do than just hike. The pronunciation of some spots would get you some confused looks and no directions if you talk to locals. This was not the most helpful of travel videos.
The best thing to do in Phoenix, Arizona is to leave. I hate sprawling metropolis.
