Merida has been on my heart since January after I considered Mexico as my next home. I've watched countless videos talking about the extreme heat, mosquitoes, flying cockroaches, and all, and somehow, I'm still being drawn to it. I think I'll go with my gut and continue to research, but it's such a beautiful place. Even despite the heat that people mention often.

so very thankful they could finally reconcile with the Spanish at 1:10 of Expedia's youtube video in 2017. Seriously though: I'd think a company as large and present worldwide as Expedia wouldn't tiptoe around offending conquistadors that have been dead for hundreds of years by now. Spent a month in the Yucatan and cant even justify watching the rest of the video after that claim. A gorgeous church that symbolizes the eventual defeat of the Mayan civilization <3

America news paint the picture like Mexico is a war zone of kidnapping cartels. I should've known. I'm noticing a lot of America's are moving there and I'm interested too. If anyone have resources to help make a move there, please tag me. 🙏🏽 Thank you.

Everything I'd love, all year round sun, heat, humidity, culture, beauty, I've been to quintana roo, Mexico City, Acapulco etc and its amazing, im trying very hard to make a success of my online business so that I can be free to visit for as long as I want. I can't wait to visit Merida soon! ❤

Hello, very interesting, it served me super well and I went to all the places you mentioned, in addition to going to all the cenote towns and beaches I did it by motorcycle, in Mérida you can rent quite powerful and comfortable automatic motorcycles to make trips to the points of Yucatan interest, it is a super adventure, besides that I am very practical, I recommend it, in case your subscribers are interested, I will leave how to find the company that rents the motorcycles (I do not remember what they are called) but you can search in Google as " rent scooter rent motorcycles ”, it seems to me. They include a comprehensive coverage insurance in the cost of the rent. In this way, in 5 days I managed to visit a lot of points of interest and return the nights to my airbnb in Mérida. Greetings

@Expedia THUMBNAIL IS NOT MÉRIDA, ITS VALLADOLID – Calle 41 and Iglesia de San Servacio!! My own videos of both Mérida and Valladolid are far more accuarate and lists all you need to see. Watch them and read the video info instead for accurate info.
