I use to love South Lake Tahoe until I realized they cover up crimes there. A man was beheaded there at the hotel. You can Google it. A lot of sick people live up there. Dangerous.

I stayed at Lake Tahoe several years ago. I have never seen such blue water, bright green trees and white rocks in my life, I want to go back again.

I grew up in Sparks and just got back from a visit to Tahoe after being gone for 40-plus years. So sad to see the once-white sands, now brown, and the once perfectly clear water, now a bit brown. Yes, still beautiful, but not like it used to be.
I need to go more in the summer and hike those trails!
We are visiting from the UK, do you need to purchase a park pass or something equivalent to visit? We are going to yosemite Park first and we've had to buy tickets beforehand
