Beautiful city just came back from Marrakesh today. People and culture were so friendly & hospitable. Enjoyed the food and weather. I will be going there again.

Marrakech is amazing it has such a special vibe you can not find anywhere in the world, the buildings and architecture is wonderful, the problem with Marrakech everyone want something from you. Scammers/Hustlers and beggars in some areas, you need to be careful and do your homework. Already when you arrive to the airport the hustling beggins with the taxa mafia outside, the police stand 50m away from them watching their scam while smoking cigarettes. And some places the service is very low, it's like some people do not know what customer service is. Seriously some people just ruin the overall experience of this magical city. It's a shame because it's a amazing city amazing food amazing atmosphere, the first day it's like a culture chock and after you settle in its just amazing the sounds the smells the colors. It's a must experience for any traveller. Even with all the hustle etc Marrakech feels so safe, police everywhere and military with machineguns. And most people are pretty friendly. The best cities I visited in Morocco are without a doubt Tanger, Chefchaouen and Agadir and these places really makes you fall in love with Morocco and want to visit again and again to discover new places.

    The people aren't beautiful.
They are barbarians. That's not Berbers now, that's barbarians.

They treat visitors like a resource and are rude, dishonest and even aggressive about robbing you, with no clue about hygiene or food safety.

You, the foreigner, are the enemy and are to reminded of that fact frequently.

    How do I know?
I lived there for 11 months.
