Now I digress, my sister you are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT about this city… I love your podcast and it is inspiration. It is sad that a city with as many black people as they are that it is still like this and it's getting worse. What does government shutdown black people should be working together to make things happen including the Democratic party. It's going downhill and it's because a lot of us as black people are not collaborating together. I am not being negative; however, I'm getting the f*** out of this city or country. Whatever macro environmental factors we have in our society as black people, we must have the ambition to make change and do something how about it… I live in London and I used to go to New York a lot. I know I may get some flack for saying this but you are right when it comes to the society in this city. If I am young black ambitious I would not come here especially being single. It is one of the most disappointing cities I've ever lived in… I love this podcast and I wish I would have seen it a long time ago. My black ass when I left this city way ahead as I should have done. Damn I'm writing a lot. At this age at 66 I still feel like I'm 30, I work out at the gym on a daily, dating some people half my age. I am not a porky pig. I still train classically to keep my body in shape. 😊 Keep doing what you doing girl and I'm sorry for writing this long passage. Although you're younger than me, I am always open to learn from Young Progressive black people. Best regards and best of luck to you and other brothers and sisters who are progressive they want to make the best for themselves without relying on white supremacy.

    I first visited the nation’s capital in July of 2019, and I can just say that Washington, DC is one of the greatest places I’ve ever been to. From the Smithsonian museums to the monuments, everything this city has to offer is a reminder to our nation’s history and government. Also included in that vacation was a stop at Hersheypark and the Atlantic coastline.
