If you’re landing at Istanbul Airport, I highly recommend booking a private airport transfer instead of dealing with taxis or public transport.
We used IstanbulTour24 last time — meet & greet at arrivals, flight tracking, fixed price, and clean Mercedes Vito vans. Made the arrival stress-free, especially after a long flight.

This is what Islamism and mass refugee intake do to a country.
    Turkey was better off secular.
Even the police in Istanbul are lazy to investigate petty crime like pickpocketing for tourists.
One person I know was turned into a tennis ball having to go between Sisli and Taksim police station because the police didn't want to give a report.
Turkish police always asked their nationality. As if that matters for crime.
The taxi drivers ask for exorbitant highway toll fees that are fake if they have to take some routes.
Turkish people are also doing this to themselves.
The scams, lazy police and damn rude behaviour on Istiklal street don't help.
    They deserve it.

Turkish here, köfte is not an breakfast. It is a lunch. Don’t go to a kofteci for breakfast. It will ruin your day. Go a traditional breakfast areas. Yes menemen is good idea but we have variety of breakfast items like cheeses, honey, olives, cucumbers etc.

Five dead tourists in one week in Istanbul hotels due to phosphine. Aluminium phosphide is available in DIY stores in Turkey for use against bed bugs. When it comes into contact with moisture, it releases phosphine, a highly toxic, odorless gas. Dozens of tourists probably die from this every year. Many die in their sleep and are not subjected to an extremely thorough autopsy to detect phosphine poisoning.

Turkey's economic collapse, driven by its vehement support of Islamic war crimes and terrorism, is the beginning of divine punishment for Turkey, which shamelessly murdered 1.5 million Christian Armenians without any apology or reflection!
Turkey, which continues to slaughter Kurds with such brazenness, will surely face divine punishment and destruction!
Why are every Turkish tourist destination teeming with scammers and criminals?
Turkey, which deceives tourists and overcharges 🇹🇷.
    How dare it?
Turkey, which seeks to attack Israel,
is the enemy of all civilized and free people!
    It will surely be destroyed!
    All free and civilized people?
must strongly support and assist Kurdistan's independence!

Just a small note — Sultanahmet Köftecisi isn’t really a breakfast place, it’s more suitable for lunch.

Also, Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapı Palace, the Basilica Cistern, the Archaeology Museum, Gülhane Park, and the Spice Bazaar — and many other historical sites — are all within walking distance of each other.

If you stay at a hotel near this area for your first three days, it will be much more enjoyable.
Then, for the next two days, staying in Beyoğlu would be better — you’ll be close to İstiklal Street, Taksim, Galata, Ortaköy, the Maiden’s Tower, Dolmabahçe Palace, the Bosphorus tour, and the nightlife.

By the way, the meal timing in this video is really off — if the person ate all these dishes for breakfast, they probably couldn’t enjoy the rest of their trip because of a stomach ache! 😄

For the remaining days, you can plan a seaside vacation in Bodrum, Marmaris, Datça, Kaş, Antalya, Alanya, or İzmir.
Turkey is truly a paradise. Have a great trip! 🇹🇷
