Auckland has now got Arsenic in its water supply, the city is unsafe so do not travel to Auckland (2024)
Auckland is a sh*thole of a city, don't bother going. It's crime-ridden, dirty city, with rubbish and graffiti everywhere. The public transport is slow and outdated compared to similar sized cities overseas. Half the city is slow to travel around as it's affected by thousands of traffic cones and construction, which is never ending. You'll see homeless people living around many parts of the inner city at nights. Many beaches you have to check first in case they're unsafe to swim at due to raw sewage contamination. Even at the weekends the city is constantly blasted with the screaming chanting of protestors to everything possible going on in the world, even if it's somewhere thousands of miles away. Go to somewhere better like Singapore or Tokyo instead.
