If you go to peru, bring a lot of local cash. It is quite safe. Give it to locals, especially the most typical and with ancient costumes preserved in far off places. The country is beautiful, the people so welcoming. But they r very poor. Clearly, most of the money goes to the companies and does not trickle down to them. And they r the reason we visit. It is the heritage their ancestors built, it is the way they live and dress now… please plan your budget to give them a lot of tips, buy their products( which are top quality anyway). Give it back to them

Planning to visit Peru, adjacent regions of Bolivia and Chile and finally bid adieu to South America from Ushuaia. Not yet decided upon the dates but I feel excited at the looking forward to the visit.
