We went there on a coach tour. The driver told us some nonsense that it was by the sea then I saw a signpost, “Plage 200m”.

Make your way to Castle Hill for panoramic views of Nice and the Baie des Anges. Although the castle itself is in ruins, the park and views are well worth the climb or the elevator ride.
